Summer Solstice Gathering: A Midsummer Gathering of Joy & Celebration

Saturday, June 20th, 2026 · 4 pm until dusk in the love, wild gardens · Sperryville, Virginia

Come celebrate the magic of the longest day of the year with us as we focus on bringing JOY along the river — a kaleidoscope of grounded fun with plant magic, a fire circle, shared songs, community potluck and your most enchanted self. All are welcome! Just NO furry friends, please. 

Our hope is that it is a collective experience for all to enjoy with

• Solstice Tea Ritual to open the Gathering as we make a glorious Sun Tea together! 
• Botanical Arts & Crafts — herb bundling, turmeric printing, and flower crowns for merriment
• Community tending of the river — as we build spaces for sanctuary and joy - all of us creating a connection of reciprocity with the land
• Creating our own Wishing Tree along the river 
• Potluck dinner & Community sharing table (give and take) 
• Solstice astrology and Storytelling with Lore Hershey
• Midsummer Revelry— an open night under the stars featuring aerial silks performance, dancing, song, poetry, storytelling, juggling, drum circle, and whatever magic you bring! 

Please bring:

• A savory or sweet potluck dish (containers with lids, please — we're outdoors) - sign up after you register! 
• Your own place settings with mugs & cutlery
• Chairs to relax in
• Drums and Instruments if you’d like 
• Something for the community sharing table — plant medicine, seeds, art, preserves, foraged things
• A few ribbon for the wishing tree

Come dressed for Midsommer. Flowers, wings, fae finery — the more enchanted and witchy the better! 

Before the celebration: Solstice Mini Astrology Readings with Lore Hershey · 11 am–4 pm · upstairs at love, wild · 30-minute sessions · Register directly with Lore for $75 per reading.
