These are unmatted prints of original ink drawings with digitally collaged watercolor.
Based on the writings of Galen and Discorides as well as the Greek Magical Papyri (see PGM XII: 401-44), each illustration depicts an herb and its code name counterpart.
Code names have been used in grimoires to conceal the nature of herbal and magical recipes from the general populace
. They are available in standard 8 x 10" size.
Printed with archival inks on sustainable straw paper by Mohawk.
Each print will be packaged with a protective clear compostable sleeve with recycled backer board.
