Linocut is a printmaking technique where designs are carved into soft materials, inked, and transferred to paper to create beautiful, reproducible art.
What you'll learn and create:
• Add onto or create new blocks for relief printmaking that you can create multi-layer prints with
• Create patterns on fabric, and take home and create a printed bandana
• Explore inking techniques, including double inking and multiple color prints, as well using different types of inks and paints
• Take home your own hand-carved blocks and a collection of prints to display or share
