Wild Ink: A Monthly Writing Circle
Hosted at love, wild gardens — 1st Sundays, 11am–2pm
Words have always been a form of resistance.
A way to bear witness, refuse forgetting, imagine something different and allow us to express our deepest selves through words on pages.
Wild Ink is a monthly gathering for writers of all kinds — essayists, poets, journalers, storytellers, dreamers with a notebook. Led by Jiamie and Gomer Pyles, longtime writers and community organizers, this is an open, unstructured session dedicated to the simple radical act of showing up and writing together.
Come with a project to continue, a fragment, or a blank page. Stay for the river sounds, the good company, and connections
What to expect: Two and a half hours of open writing followed by optional sharing — no pressure, no critique, no agenda. Just time carved out for the work of turning thoughts into words on a page.
When: First Sunday of each month, 11am–2pm
Where: love, wild gardens at Wild Roots Apothecary, River Lane, Sperryville, Virginia
Cost: Free. A donation basket is available to support Jiamie and Gomer's travel and garden costs!
Gathering starting May 3rd
