Join artist and educator Sam and make your own turkey wing sweeper broom. Sunday, October 25th, from 12:30pm to 3:00pm.


Join Sam at The Hive for a cozy fall broom making workshop, where you'll create a beautiful and functional turkey wing sweeper broom! 

What you'll learn and create:

  • Bundling and weaving broom corn with local dried flowers
  • Explore the folklore and traditions of brooms and broom-making both regionally and globally.
  • Create your own handcrafted turkey wing broom with bits of the love, wild gardens preserved in it to display or use!

Perfect for those already interested in broom making, but also incredibly beginner friendly! 

All materials provided, bring dried herbs or flowers you want to incorporate!

No prior experience necessary. Just bring your creativity!
