Beautiful, 1-inch and larger, purple to mahogany brown fruit have a rich, sweet flavor similar to the large black tomatoes. Plants are very vigorous and tall and just keep on producing loads of these beauties throughout the season. More exposure to sunlight deepens the color of the tomatoes.

Black Cherry tomatoes should be started indoors 6 to 8 weeks before your last frost date and transplanted out after all danger of frost has passed. They require full sun and well-drained soil. Fruit will begin to mature about 64 days after transplanting.
