In this class we will be learning the fundamentals of natural structures in the garden as well as building three types of trellises. This course is for folks desiring to incorporate more art in their garden with natural materials, as well as effectively using vertical space.

About me
Joneve Murphy has been farming for restaurants, chefs, farmers markets and home cooks for more than 16 years. She moved to Virginia in 2009 for a position at Ayrshire Farm in Upperville, attending farmers markets and selling produce to various chefs in the DC and Northern Virginia region.
In May of 2014 she traveled to 18 countries in Africa, Europe, Asia and Central America to study organic agriculture. She worked on more than 200 farms growing everything from coconuts to wasabi, vegetables, grains, fruit, fish and animals as both a volunteer and consultant. She learned traditional farming methods as well as modern ones to compliment her own knowledge in the field. She currently works as a farm manager for a local 3-Michelin star restaurant as farm manager
